Getting Started With Crossbar
Welcome to Crossbar! All registered Middleton Youth Lacrosse Club (MYLC) families have access to the Crossbar platform and mobile apps (available on iOS and Android). Crossbar makes it easy to manage registrations, view team schedules, communicate with coaches, and stay updated on club events. Follow the steps below to set up and navigate your account.
Create Your Account
- Visit the MYLC registration site and click Sign Up (top left, near the MYLC logo).
- Enter your preferred email address and create a password.
- Check your email for a verification link and click it to activate your account.
- Complete your profile by adding your name and phone number.
Add Your Player(s)
After setup, you'll be prompted to add a participant:
- If adding later, log in and go to Account > Participants tab.
- Click Add Participant.
- Enter the player's name, birthdate, and other required details.
You can add multiple players to one account as needed.
Your Crossbar Account Menu
Once logged in (on the website or app), select Account to access:
- Participants: Add or edit player details.
- Teams: View assigned teams and access team pages (schedules, rosters, etc.).
- Volunteer: Sign up for volunteer opportunities (if available).
- Billing: Review balances, payments, and update payment methods.
- Settings: Update your name, phone, email, or password.
- Notifications: Enable email alerts for games, practices, and updates—turn these on for important communications!
- Pages: View any private pages shared with your account.
Add Another Parent/Guardian
We recommend adding all parents/guardians who transport players or need access to info and notifications.
- Log in on the website (not the app).
- Go to Account > select the player > + Add in the Accounts section.
- Enter the new user's email.
- If they have an account, they're added immediately.
- If not, they'll receive a verification email to create one (name, password, phone).
- Repeat for additional users (refresh the page if needed).
Using the Crossbar Mobile App
Download the Crossbar app from the Apple App Store or Google Play. Log in with your website credentials to access teams, schedules, and more on the go.
- Team Chat: Use the in-app chat for quick team communication (separate from email notifications). Only app users receive chat alerts.
- If teams aren't showing, ask the primary registrant to add you to the player's profile.
Sync Your Family Calendar
- Log in on the website and navigate to Family Calendar.
- View all events across your players' teams.
- Click the calendar feed option (top right) and follow device-specific instructions to sync with your personal calendar (Google, Apple, Outlook, etc.).
Manage Payments
Log in and go to Account > Billing to:
- View payment history and balances.
- Add, edit, or remove payment methods.
Payments process automatically on scheduled dates (may take a few days to appear on statements).
Update Payment Information
For upcoming payments:
- Go to Account > select player > Registration History > View Details.
- Click Edit next to the payment method.
- Update card info, select applicable payments, and save.
Troubleshooting
- Can't log in? Click Sign Up and create an account, or use Forgot Password (check spam/junk folders).
- Email already in use? Reset password via Forgot Password. If issues persist, contact help@crossbar.org for manual assistance.
- No schedule in Family Calendar? Ask the primary registrant to add you as a parent/guardian (see above).
